Enjoyed this playlist, live in Payson Arizona and the local airport (KPAN) has a lot of tail draggers fly in usually Thursday and thru Saturday. This time of year, have a lot of wildland firefighting aircraft assigned/staged here as well.

I suspect they're kind of picky about you knowing where Jabara, Beech and McConnell AFB are because they had a 747 Dreamlifter accidently land at Jabara instead of McConnell one time. Big news in Wichita. 🙄

My wife’s father was a pilot for TWA and American Airlines. I’ve always thought that people who fight planes have a particular set of skills in an extremely stable and calm nature about them when they’re in the air ……this girls got great skills I would end up, lost or on the ground…… great example of that is captain Sullenberger….
